Springfield Township EAC Water Run-Off Awareness Program

Location: Springfield Township Building 50 Powell Rd. Springfield Pa 19064 www.springfielddelco.org
Springfield Twp Environmental Advisory Committee

Program to feature:

  1. Impact of water runoff: Flooding; Overflowing Sewers; Erosion and Pollution in Darby and Crum Creek Watersheds; Property Damage ; and Increased Township and Homeowner Costs
  2. Educate Landscapers to Provide Run Off Management Practices.
  3. Educate homeowners about Landscaping Techniques to Reduce Water Run Off i.e.: Rain Gardens and Riparian Buffers
  4. Township Programs to Reduce Water Run Off and Improve Ground Water Recharge i.e.: BMP Park Project; Riparian Buffers; New Construction Site Ordinances; Township Ordinances; Improved Practices at Country Clubs
