Dear CRC Restoration Volunteer,

Please find at list of volunteer needs for CRC events this spring. We hope to see many of you at some of these. We especially need help at the Goose Creek Cleanup – West Goshen site.

Saturday, April 18th, Chester Creek Earth Day Cleanup. 9 Am to 11 AM. Meet at the West Goshen site behind the MacDonalds on Gay Street a little before 9 Am to enjoy Starbucks coffee and bagels. Please email me for directions.

West Chester Borough
Meet by 9 AM at West Chester Public Works, 205 Lacey Street. Contact site coordinators: Ben Aller, baller@chesco.org, 610-344-4558 – Courtney Marm, Courtney.marm@gmail.com or 610-637-7576.

West Goshen Township
Meet by 9 AM., in the parking lot behind the McDonalds on Gay Street.

East Goshen Township*
*Meet at 8:30 AM, inside the East Goshen Municipal Building, 1580 Paoli Pike, for this annual roadside cleanup.

Thornbury/Westtown Joint Meeting Place
Meet by 9 AM at Goose Creek Park parking lot, behind Goose Creek Grill on Route 926, to clean both Westtown and Thornbury sections of the creek.

Sat May 2nd CRC Streams Cleanup – list attached. Volunteers especially needed at lower watershed sites ( Woodlyn Shopping Center in Ridley, Caleb Pusey House in Upland, and Chester City). Also at the Concord site on the West Branch – Ivy Mills.

Sat May 9th – Mills at Rose Valley TreeVitalize Planting – 9 Am to 11 Am. Meet at end of Kincaid Mills. Contact Paula Berger 610-872-4407

Sat May 16th – TreeVitalize Planting at Ridley Creek State Park- Sycamore Mills area with Lyondell, Trout Unlimited, and Upper Providence for Open Space. 8:30 Am pullout along Barren Rd. Park along Ridley Creek Rd and please carpool.

Tues May 19th and Wed May 20th – Marple Newtown snapshot, 8:45 Am to 1:30 PM. One of four sites along Crum Creek. The Hildacy Farm site has been changed to Kent Park .
